Preparing Yourself for Dog Encounters is the first book of its kind. The book is full of information on how to stay safe when around a dog. It describes a dog’s body language in detail and explains how to interpret it. It reveals how a person’s reaction to a dog can influence the dog’s behavior. The book targets those whose job requires them to possibly come across a dog during the workday, such as, firefighters, delivery personnel, and animal shelter employees. However, it is also intended for the public –joggers, bicyclists, and most especially parents.
