NATIONWIDE DOG BITE PREVENTION DEMONSTRATIONS

When it comes t
o knowing what to do when con
fronted by a potentially dangerous dog, Hector Hernandez has the answers, and, what’s really amazing, is the way he is able to convey that to others. His demonstrations are informative and entertaining. He knows his material, and has an uncanny ability to teach it to his audience. There may be others out there who do dog bite demonstrations, but no one can compare to Mr. Hernandez. Time after time, the same companies have invited him back to train their new employees or give a refresher course. No one has heard Hector Hernandez's presentation then chosen another speaker.

He is committed to educating the public about dogs. He is the only licensed law enforcement officer to teach this subject. And, as an officer, he has had to use deadly force on dogs. He has a compassion for dogs and enjoys training them, but also understands that, as a law enforcement officer, he has an obligation to the people to protect them from any threat.

All Breed Obedience Training Classes
Taking Registration for December 6th & 7th in Merdian
Novemeber 13th &14th in Perry
This two-day class focuses on the dog’s primary genetic factor to serve humans and is based on mutual respect. This training method created by Hector will show you how intelligent your dog can be in just one session without food, verbal commands or toys. You will learn how to interact with your dog at home andwhen you’reout together. Your dog will become predictable and able to control its impulses because you bring confidence, respect and trust into the relationship. Minimum age for puppies/dogs is 4 months.
You will also learn how to give proper corrections by holding the dog accountable, and training through trial and error, which is how dogs learn on their own. You’ll learn the proper time to praise your dog, and not to give praise just because you feel good. You will also find out how to read your dog's body language to anticipate behaviors. Leash control, voice control to control your feelings, hand signals, and proper timing to avoid confusion are all examples of what you will learn
in thisbasic obedience class. Most importantly, you will discover how to train your dog to be independent of your praise.
Remember that everything the dog
knows is instinct, except obedience. Through training, you fulfill your
dog's purpose in life: SERVING YOU.
I receive countless phone calls about behavior problems, and over 80% of these problems are due to lack of basic training, improper diet and lack of knowledge about how to socially interact with their pet. The dogs, in effect, were left to train themselves (or not). The other 20% of behavior calls are related to dogs that were trained using the wrong training method.
